Purlieu Bistro is now permanently closed.  First and foremost, I’d like to thank the Oakridge community for being so supportive over the years… especially in the early days of 2019 and throughout the pandemic.  Your support was humbling… even when we served Hawaiian cuisine!

 

But there comes a time when you realize you only have so much time for business, family or friends.  So, with a heavy heart, I’ve decided to solely focus on our sister restaurant, Trullo Trattoria, and pass the restaurant over to a good neighbor in the community… Hungry Thaiger.

 

I’d like to thank my early partner, Eric Mah, who worked hard for the first few years until SAIT came calling and he became a culinary instructor.  I’d also like to thank my talented wife who named Purlieu and does the designs and build outs for every project we’ve been involved in. I’m especially grateful for the landlords, Tom & Kiki, for their support in our community and for being so accommodating.  Also, special mention to the early silent investors that had the confidence in us, we certainly needed and appreciated your support!

Finally, I’d like to thank all of Purlieu’s staff from the beginning until the end.  I couldn’t have done it without you.
